As my career was, and is, mostly based within the world of videography, photography started off as strictly a hobby. As time went on, I found the two mediums often overlap, so I started to bring the two together in my business world, as well as in my art.
I'm sure it's painfully obvious to many, but, for the most part, I am a self taught photographer who has learned everything either by trial and error, or by watching people who actually know what they're doing and attempting to improve my craft via osmosis. I have been blessed with many great opportunities to travel the world...both with humanitarian efforts as well as some amazing vacations.
Travel is my biggest vice. This is the main reason that I will probably have to remain gainfully employed until I'm 80. So be it. I can't imagine not being able to see at least part of what God has created. To me, life is too short to allow it to become mundane and predictable. To paraphrase Neil Peart, one of my favorite authors, "Wouldn't you rather have a life consisting of 50+ years of different experiences as opposed to having the same experience repeated 50 times?"
My suitcase is always partially packed....:)
